Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and DailyByte. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use DailyByte.

The service

DailyByte helps you learn to do real work with AI. We generate and serve role-relevant tasks and practice content, give you an in-platform AI workspace and tools to solve them, evaluate and coach your work, and track your progress. We also offer paid plans for additional features. We may change or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Our intellectual property

The service, the software, the tasks and problems we generate, our evaluation rubrics and reference solutions, our brand, and all data we derive from operating the service (including aggregated and de-identified usage, difficulty, and quality data) are owned by DailyByte or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own learning while these terms are in effect. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our generated content or use it to build or train a competing problem or task bank.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or identity provider secure. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe create risk for other users or the service. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Content you contribute

"Your Content" means anything you submit to the service: problems, ideas, solutions, code, task descriptions, the role and work details you provide to generate tasks, and the prompts, messages, and files you enter in the AI workspace. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant DailyByte a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, verify, evaluate, publish, display, and distribute Your Content, and to create derivative works from it, in order to operate, improve, secure, and promote the service. Where Your Content has been incorporated into content we serve to others (for example, a contributed problem that other users rely on), that license is perpetual and irrevocable to the extent needed to keep operating the service, and it survives deletion of your account; deleting your account removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that Your Content is your own original work (or that you have all rights and permissions needed to grant this license), that it does not copy a third party's problem or infringe or misappropriate anyone's intellectual-property, privacy, or confidentiality rights, and that it contains no personal data of others, employer-confidential information, secrets, or credentials you are not permitted to share. Do not paste real confidential work data into the workspace. We may remove or refuse content that fails verification, is reported, or breaks these terms, but we are not obligated to review it.

The AI workspace

The workspace runs AI models and tools on the inputs you provide to help you complete tasks. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for your learning; you are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them, and they are not professional advice. We may process your workspace inputs and outputs to run and improve the service as described above and in our Privacy Policy. Do not use the workspace to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to attempt to attack the models, the sandbox, or other systems.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback about the service, you grant DailyByte a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose without obligation to you.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break the sandbox, exfiltrate data, disrupt the service, scrape at scale, abuse the reward or referral systems, or use the service (or its generated content) to build or train a competing problem or task bank. Submitted code runs in an isolated environment; do not use it to attack us or others.

Payments

Paid plans are billed through our payment providers (Razorpay in India, Stripe elsewhere). Prices, taxes, and billing cycles are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends.

You may request a full refund within 7 days of any subscription charge. Each request is reviewed by a person; once approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method and your subscription is cancelled immediately with paid access removed at that point. Refunds reach your account within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. To keep the guarantee fair, we may limit it to one approved refund per customer in any 12-month period and may decline requests that show signs of abuse. See our Refund Policy for the full details.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, DailyByte is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use means you accept them. We may suspend or end your access for breach. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
